    CTC website policy
  • 1. The website is the CTC's face to the outside world and its primary means of publicising the society. Its main function is therefore to inform the general public about the CTC and its activities with a view to attracting new members to the society and audiences to the public productions.
  • 2. The broad content comprises information on the structure, functioning and activities of the CTC, including current events and membership information. It does not contain information on the members themselves unless the site allows for a members' section accessible only by password.
  • 3. Private addresses of CTC members will be posted on the site only with the express permission of the member(s) concerned.
  • 4. The site is maintained by a webmaster, through whom all material for uploading to the site passes. Unless exceptional circumstances demand it the webmaster has only one deputy, who maintains the site in his or her absence.
  • 5. The webmaster updates the site as soon as possible following any substantive change in information, especially the calendar of events.
  • 6. At the Committee's discretion the webmaster may accept advertising material for inclusion on the home page of the website.
  • 7. No material of an illegal, partisan, immoral or potentially embarrassing nature, either textual or pictorial, will be displayed on the site.
  • 8. The CTC Committee is ultimately responsible for the content of the site.
